ABSTRACT
As a first-year medical student, I recall plowing through the embryology textbook wondering by what miracle a normal human being can enter this world. The number and the intricacies of the steps necessary are not beyond our comprehension, but the fact that so many variables are so well orchestrated as to, more likely than not, ensure success boggles my mind.
