ABSTRACT
This example of perception to realization illustrates that a visionary provides perception, an educated engineer completes the architecture, and the tradesperson does the building. The educational factor and skill sets are a roller coaster of highs and lows, and the configuration manager does not typically have a say at the beginning of a project; thus, the only tool is his or her ability to initially review the package and identify problems and delays before the start of the work.
