ABSTRACT

This example of perception to realization illustrates that a visionary provides perception, an educated engineer completes the architecture, and the tradesperson does the building. The educational factor and skill sets are a roller coaster of highs and lows, and the configuration manager does not typically have a say at the beginning of a project; thus, the only tool is his or her ability to initially review the package and identify problems and delays before the start of the work. Prework reviews are described in detail in chapter four of this book.
