ABSTRACT
If their performance is established beyond doubt, nano uids could have numerous potential applications. e enhanced thermal properties will attract small-to large-scale heating and cooling applications, from miniature electronics and automobiles to nuclear power plants (Wang and Mujumdar 2007, Ding et al. 2007a). Similarly, their antimicrobial behavior will ensure the controlling of harmful bacteria, making safer living environments (Zhang et al. 2007a).
