ABSTRACT
According to the classišcation made by International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) [1], porous materials can be divided into three main categories depending on their pore size, that is, the microporous materials with pore size under 2 nm, the mesoporous materials with pore size between 2 and 50 nm, and the macroporous materials with pore size greater than 50 nm. ™e commonly referred nanoporous materials are mainly included in the mesoporous range. ™erefore, in this chapter, the structure of mesoporous materials is mainly discussed.
