Falls are responsible for a signiœcant portion of employee injuries. Aside from the obvious costs, employee injuries also interrupt customer service and can affect proœtability. Although it is unlikely that you will in¯uence the general public, management can certainly exercise a high degree of control over the footwear worn by employees.
