ABSTRACT

After publication of the above-mentioned first papers, numerous investigations of flow and heat transfer on moving plates and rods including conjugate formulations are performed, and now there is an expanded literature. A comprehensive survey of results in this area was given by Jaluria in 1992 [3] who considers three types of approaches: the problems with a given heat transfer coefficient, the problems studying heat transfer from isothermal or uniform heat flux moving surfaces, and conjugate heat transfer problems.
