ABSTRACT
In this chapter we consider several non-steady and mixed lubrication models for infinite journal bearings and non-conformal contacts. Proper modified formulations and some solutions of these problems are presented. The comparison of the solutions of the traditional and modified non-steady problems is provided. A formulation and analysis of a mixed friction problem with zones of dry and lubricant friction are considered. The necessary boundary conditions at the internal contact boundaries separating dry and lubricated zones are considered.
