ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we introduce some so-called Galerkin-based meshless methods. First, in Sec. 11.1, we focus on how to construct meshless shape functions. Then we introduce the element-free Galerkin method in Sec. 11.2, which is followed by the meshless local Petrov-Galerkin methods in Sec. 11.3.
