ABSTRACT

Overview It is often uttered by many a security professional, in fact ad nauseam, that “security touches everything.” Every time that we look to secure something, whether an organization, technical system, or building, we must consider the people, process, technology, and facility elements in order to provide a secure solution. Th e unfortunate thing though is that, in reality, achieving this comprehensive perspective by those both inside and outside of a security program is usually one of the biggest challenges for our security eff orts.
