ABSTRACT

A total of 410 species potential distributions were modeled for the study region. This figure includes 16 amphibians, 43 reptiles, 286 birds, and 65 mammals. Of the total 410 species, 23 consisted of species living exclusively in the ocean or on islands off the California coast. Thus, only 387 species were utilized for calculations of species richness. Of these 387 species, 16 were non-native.
