ABSTRACT
The Application Plane as one might suspect is the principal plane in which an operator would blend applications. Although this may be true, the Application Plane does not hold exclusive rights to this role. As we will discuss in Chapter 20, blending of applications can occur at several layers in the overall network as well as in several components.
