ABSTRACT
Assessing risk is a critical means of determining the protection profile required for your organization, and what you need to be concerned about in the area(s) in which you are working. It is different from typical risk assessment in that geopolitical concerns must be addressed, and typically create or add to existing risk more often than other factors. I prefer to break down disasters into two categories that comprise risk: natural and man-made.
