Security, Crisis Management, and Evacuation Planning: The 2:00 a.m. Friday Telephone Call—“The Missiles Are Flying All around Us!”

Security and crisis management are mutually dependent upon each other, in my opinion. Each is an important program for protecting people and assets around the world. I honestly believe that you can’t have an effective security program without a crisis or emergency management program to back it up. You must plan for and implement an effective security management program, but whether you are dealing with a man-made or natural disaster, your crisis management must be robust and inclusive.
