ABSTRACT
The benefit/risk profile of NSAIDs presents two main areas of interest. The first one concerns the evaluation of the benefit/risk profile of NSAIDs as a class; in particular, the benefit/risk profile varies according to clinical indications, characteristics of the users (mainly age and clinical characteristics) and patterns of use (mainly dose, duration, and concomitant use of other drugs). The second one concerns the differences among various NSAIDs.
