In This Chapter As we move from planning security to planning the overall cloud deployment, one thing doesn’t change: It’s still all about planning around benefit and risk, weighing the risk against the potential gains and planning to maximize the opportunities for benefit while minimizing the potential risks. If you can feel good about the balance, then maybe you’re on the right track. If you’re certain that you’ve carefully considered the possibilities and you still feel good about your plans, then that track is looking better and better. We’re going to look at some of the cloud computing adoption strategies we’ve heard various organizations talk about, and we’ll take a few educated guesses as to strategies that should work as the technology develops.
