ABSTRACT

The chief working hypothesis of quantum mechanics asserts that the entire information about any given system is ingrained in the wave function of the system. The stated quantum-mechanical postulate on completeness implies that everything one could possibly learn about any considered system is also contained in the auto-correlation function. Asymmetric scalar products are customary in the conventional formulation of quantum mechanics defined on the field of Hermitean operators. Regarding the computational performance, judicious implementation of the theoretical formalism of the Green function is significant in itself, on top of being a veritable alternative to the Schrodinger equation, especially for spectral analysis and signal processing. In the Schrodinger picture of quantum mechanics, wave functions are non-stationary, whereas operators are stationary. The main working postulate of quantum mechanics is that the full information about any studied system is contained in the set of the total wave functions.
