ABSTRACT

Generally, product-liability lawsuits are directed toward any business that manufactures, assembles, wholesales, distributes, displays, sells, gives away, or in any way handles a product, article, or substance that causes harm to an individual or a group of persons. The product offered to the public for consumption must be considered free of defects, and if the item is found to be defective or to cause harm, the manufacturer must make good on that responsibility.
