ABSTRACT
The 0-adrenergic blocking agents have come into increasing use in recent years, and their medical indica tions continue to expand. They have become the most commonly used drugs for a number of cardiovascular diseases. Because of this extensive use, inadvertent self poisoning as well as deliberate overdosing with (3-adrenergic blocking drugs is becoming an increasingly fre quent and important problem.
