ABSTRACT
The use of preservatives can cause interference in phytopigment quantication. Chloropigments in trap samples can be identied and quantied by means of reverse-phase high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) (Mantoura and Llewellyn 1983), following the procedure described by Dell’Anno et al. (1999).
