ABSTRACT

Software agents can be applied to solve new types of problems as they may arise in dynamic open systems (Jennings and Wooldridge 1998), so the structure of the system is capable of changing dynamically, and as its components are not known in advance, they can change over time and may be highly heterogeneous. In order to manage software systems like this, some current types and methods of quality measurement and evaluation techniques will be considered. First, the essential components of a software agent from a measurement point of view will be shown in the scheme of Figure 3.1.
