DHA/EPA Membranes as Targets of Oxidative Damage

Hypothesis: DHA/EPA-enriched membranes are a source of oxidative stress to the cell because they are readily oxidized, and cells have therefore evolved a variety of protective mechanisms against lipoxidation of these bilayers.
