ABSTRACT

Chapter 7 focused on cultures in general and detailed a culture that supports Lean strategies or Lean principles; this chapter begins by describing how to implement a culture by first ensuring that any approach is customized to a particular organization. Next, the role of HR in implementing culture is highlighted. The chapter ends with a discussion of how to identify which individuals are in alignment, are neutral, or disagree with the overall culture, and shows how to use this information to support a culture initiative.
