ABSTRACT

This book began by describing how human potential or people’s abilities are wasted in the workplace. The discussion closes with a look at how optimizing people is increasingly powerful as a naturally motivating system of managing people’s efforts. The motivational aspect of Lean principles provides even more reasons for integrating them into an HR strategy, including that continuous improvement cultures create more than immediate results.. Each principle is naturally motivating and inspires people to contribute more of themselves in the workplace. Each Lean cultural element has its unique motivational aspect, which is a fraction of how they work together to create energy, enthusiasm, and the motivational power to accomplish tasks in far less time and with far better results. The principles build off of each other to create ever greater amounts of energy and enthusiasm. Each factor combines with the other elements to generate energy and momentum.
