ABSTRACT

There are four basic relationships that underpin social-environmental planning: (1) intrapersonal, (2) interpersonal, (3) between people and the environment, and (4) between people in the present and those of the future. Because everything we do in life is a practice of relationships, it is imperative to socialenvironmental planning that we both understand these basic relationships and strive to become psychologically mature adults within our respective spheres of influence.
