Philippines–China Defense and Military Cooperation: Problems and Prospects in the Post-9/11 Era

Introduction Pursuant to Article 2 of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Defense Cooperation signed in November 2004 by the Philippine Department of National Defense (DND) and the Chinese Ministry of National Defense, the two countries conducted the First Philippines-China Defense and Security Dialogue (PCDSD) in Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City, on May 22-25, 2005.
