ABSTRACT

If an enterprise followed the prescription offered in Chapter nine, it will have captured a healthy denition of its internal capabilities for doing work for customers prior to having started to work on this proposal. The enterprise will have a complete work catalog listing all work it can perform on programs in terms of enterprise functionality linked clearly to functional department responsibilities. This pairing will be further linked to resources to be provided to all programs from the functional departments when those programs pull their work strings from the catalog by including the department budget in their program plan. All of the content of the IMP will be traceable to this generic common process and work catalog.
