ABSTRACT
Chemicals. α-Linolenic acid, γ-linolenic acid, arachidonic acid, and docosahexaenoic acid were purchased from NuChek-Prep (Elysian, MN) (purity > 95%). EPA (purity > 99%) was purchased from Cayman Chemical (Denver, CO). The Silica Gel 60 F254 thin-layer chromatography (TLC) plate was purchased from EM Science (Cherry Hill, NJ). All chemicals were obtained from commercial sources.
