Obviously, each of these approaches will have its own quirks. As we move from top to bottom, we expect to see the cost of the outsource decline, although this decline is not always the case. Also, as we move down the list, management of the outsource becomes increasingly problematic. We are going from in-house work to the other side of the planet. Luckily, high-quality technical people exist all over the world so some of the difficulties may be more perceived than real.
