ABSTRACT
Safflower began to be studied seriously in Argentina in 1961. In 1962, the introduction of the N-6, N-10, Pacific, and Gila varieties by the Director of Industrial Crops of the Argentine Department of Agriculture continued serious consideration of safflower by the government.
