ABSTRACT
Executive Summary Modern general human error experience dates back to the 1930s. Its development is still facing heterogeneous terminology and taxonomy challenges, with additional methodological requirements for human error occurrence studies, search for causes, as well as prevention and control methodology development, implementation and evaluation. Medical error, in addition to such difficulties, requires adaptations specific to the medical working environment, disease history, medical care, and related human behavior in the health context.
