A wide variety of test equipment is used in supporting medical equipment, and it is critical that the test devices provide accurate measurements. To ensure accuracy, test equipment should be calibrated on a regular basis, typically once a year. Calibration should be done by qualied personnel using equipment whose own calibration can be traced to a reliable standard that is recognized by the regulating authorities in your area.
