ABSTRACT
The amplitude of accommodation of the eye is its faculty of both near and far sightedness. This accommodation is obtained by changing the curvature of the cristalline. The amplitude of accomodation decreases with age; in general, after age forty, the eye cannot clearly perceive near objects: this phenomenon is called presbyopia.
