ABSTRACT
When uncertainty issues concern curve types / , F, and F -1 , what the word “uncertainty” refers to is clear. On the other hand, what the curve types discussed in this chapter, most notably: confidence bands; prediction bands and; continuous conditional box plots, actually are often misunderstood. However, before turning to these complex issues, one important related concept requires some explanation.
