ABSTRACT

Here, Sn denotes the complement of S„. Our result refines Anderson’s [2] version of Lusin’s Theorem, which concludes that * / is essentially constant on monads if one ignores the behavior on a global, possibly external, null set E. It also refines Ross’s [11] application of the standard Lusin Theorem, which concludes that the global set E is actually contained in standard open sets of arbitrarily small measure.
