ABSTRACT
To start ERDAS-IMAGINE type imagine, then open the viewer in ERDASIMAGINE. Within the viewer:
Click on File. Click on Open. Click on Raster. Click ƒlename to open and display the image or grid.
Display the Rocky Mountain National Park Landsat, Colorado, TM ETM+ (TM-7) image as a single band or band combination (use any band combination you like “band432 or b543, etc.”) and observe the image carefully and report what you see. Look for vegetation, water, urban features, and so forth. Check layers information, map projection, and cell sizes. Is your image interpretation similar or different from other students? Can you distinguish among vegetation-forest type, water, trial, open area, meadow, and other land use and land cover types?
