ABSTRACT
Chemistry is the branch of knowledge that deals with the composition of substances, the relation of properties to composition, and interactions among substances. There is acertain overlap of chemistrywith physics, because each of these substances is present in the physical world and subject to the world’s physical laws. However, much of what distinguishes chemistry from physics is the attention given to electrons and their energies in the eld of chemistry. It is the interactions among electrons from different elements that cause compound materials to form.
