ABSTRACT
In this chapter we will develop codes that will correct multiple errors. Codes based on polynomial multiplication were developed independently by R. C. Bose and Ray-Chaudhuri (1960) and Hocquenghem (1959). They are known as BCH codes. A Reed-Solomon code is a particular type of BCH code that has many applications.
