ABSTRACT
Metals are the most notoriously exploited materials in mechanical construction-iron, copper, aluminum, and magnesium alloys; more speci—cally, steels, cast irons, bronzes, brass, and light as well as ultra-light alloys. Moreover, non-metallic materials also have to be taken into account, such as wood, plastics, rubbers, ceramic materials and compounds (—berglass PRVF, carbo-resin C1 PRFC1, carbo-resin C3 PRFC3, Boron resin, Aramidiche resin).
