ABSTRACT
A model is a representation of a real system or part of it. Modeling is the activity of building models. A computational model is a mathematical model implemented in a computer system and usually requires high performance computational resources to execute. The model is used to study the behavior of a complex real system. The computer implementations of computational models are essentially programs.
