ABSTRACT

Disposal of polymer-containing tools and excess polymers and cleaning agents should be in the approved manner and should not contaminate domestic refuse or water courses. There are many uses for jointing precast units together and one used successfully by a cladding manufacturer was a case of a white exposed aggregate concrete panel with a nominally black panel set at a right angle at its end to form an L-shaped in plan unit. Arrisses which require minor repair or ‘sharpening’ demand experience and dedication and can often be dealt with by running two stones at right angles to each other, either working in the filling material and then rubbing back to the datum levels when the filling material can be tooled. Larger size gradings may be preferable for repairs and jointing work but, for filling application work, sizes coarser than the 600 sieve will often be found unsuitable for filling in very fine imperfections.
