Elastoplastic constitutive models for geomaterials using transformed stress

In Chapter 3, we have introduced the transformed stress based on the SMP criterion to generalize the Cam-clay models. The generalized models are essentially applicable to the normally consolidated clay under general stress states, and cannot accurately predict the mechanical behavior of other geomaterials such as sands and unsaturated soils. In this chapter, we further introduce three elastoplastic constitutive models for sands, K₀-consolidated soils, and unsaturated soils.
