The proposed installation should be discussed with the tenants and their wishes complied with, e.g. additional sockets over those proposed or a reduction of sockets in areas that have recently been decorated. All cables are installed flush and are protected by suitably sized heavy-duty plastic capping and/or oval conduit complete with fixings. No re-wiring is to be carried out unless tests indicate that this is necessary or if additional outlets are required, i.e. lighting, power, etc.
