ABSTRACT
Several research projects using innovative tools to
improve the performance of the precast concrete
product manufacturing systems have been con-
ducted: Dohn, et al. 2009 developed an integer
programming model for the manpower allocation
problem with time windows. Lu, et al., (2008)
presented a computer system called simplified
simulation-based scheduling (S3) to solve the prob-
lem of skilled labourer scheduling in amulti-project
context.
