The gypsum content of rubble v a r i e d c o n s i d e r a b l y i n the d i f f e r e n t regions of Germany (see F i g u r e 1 ) . T h i s i s why the data sheet (37) recommends t h a t a chemical a n a l y s i s should be c a r r i e d out before d e c i d i n g which grades can be used immediately and which grades should be su b j e c t e d to a s p e c i a l improving treatment ( s i n t e r i n g f o r i n s t a n c e ) before the processed rubble should be used as aggregate f o r concrete.
