ABSTRACT
The best c o n d i t i o n s are obtained with r e g u l a r and f u l l use of the p l a n t . I f a p l a n t works only to a f r a c t i o n of i t s c a p a c i t y , the lower output must s t i l l c a r r y the considerable f i x e d c o s t s which i n c l u d e the wages; v a r i a b l e c o s t s are l e s s important i n r e c y c l i n g .
