ABSTRACT

A b s t r a c t F i r e s a f e t y t e s t s u s u a l l y r e q u i r e f l a m e s t o w h i c h s t r u c - t u r e s o r specimens a r e exposed. T h i s , as w e l l as d i f f e r e n - ces i n environment and equipment causes a s p e c i a l s i t u a t i o n f o r t h e r e p e a t a b i l i t y and r e p r o d u c i b i l i t y o f t h e s e t e s t s . The f e a t u r e s a s s o c i a t e d w i t h f i r e t e s t s and c i r c u m s t a n c e s i n l a b o r a t o r i e s o f v a r i o u s c o u n t r i e s a r e examined. These a r e i l l u s t r a t e d i n t r o d u c i n g a case o f t h e N o r d i c round r o b i n t e s t s e r i e s p r o j e c t where b i g t e s t f u r n a c e s o f d i f f e r e n t c o n s t r u c t i o n and f u e l were a p p l i e d i n f o u r l a b o r a t o r i e s f o r a s p e c i a l l y d e s i g n e d specimen.
