Abstract.Inthisworkweanalyzetheinfluenceofanelectricfieldonthe responseofacircularliquidjetexcitedbyapulsedsignalexternallyimposed tothemeanflow.Theinfluenceonthelimitsofthewavepacketandon thegrowthrateareestablishedshowingthattheelectricfieldspreadsand destabilizesapulsetypeperturbation.
