A preliminary study into microstructural characterisation of the river Porsuk sediments, Turkey

Abstract. This study reports the preliminarily scientific data on some of the morphology and surface features of the polluted, soft organics, bottom river sediments collected from depths of 0-40 em at representative sites along the main course of the river Porsuk, Turkey. The representative SEM images revealed the presence of different structures within the sediments.
