ABSTRACT
The previous chapter discussed the issues underlying the involvement of users in the design process. In this chapter, we will examine the practical implications of con ducting user trials with users with a range of capabilities and impairments. For our purposes here, we will assume that the company, research or design team wishing to perform the user trial sessions already has a framework in place for finding and recruiting users. When conducting a user trial session, the main stages to consider are as follows:
We will examine each of these stages in detail.
