ABSTRACT
Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), which published their communication §3 with a complete list of all colorants and pigments used in cosmetics in 1952. Listed were 180 colorants; it was amended several times, considering the latest results from dermatology and toxicology, and was republished in 1977 by the Farbstoff-Kommission of the DFG in the form of the Red Ringbook Kosmetische Farbemittel.
